September 18, 2023 //  by Emily Hayburn

Fad diets have taken over. The Keto diet is all over social media these days. However, the Keto diet is not a healthy way to lose weight. It is high fat, adequate protein, and very low carb. Carbs are the body’s main source of energy. You need carbohydrates in order to function. And, as soon as you stop the Keto diet after losing weight, you’ll gain the weight back fast. The Mediterranean diet is different. It is a lifestyle. In different parts of the world, people use this diet. They are considered some the healthiest people in the world.

What is the Mediterranean Diet?

  • Vegetables
  • Fruits
  • Whole Grains
  • Beans, Nuts, and Seeds
