As we are in full-swing for the spring semester, you probably are dreading the fact that you are sitting at a desk throughout the course of your day studying for upcoming exams, doing assignments, or catching up with upcoming projects. You might also feel that there are days when you feel super unproductive in your space, and want to make the most with maximizing your area. Here are some easy ways to amplifying your study space and making the most out of your productivity!
Bright lights
Having a good, bright desk lamp is essential for those late night study grinds and making sure you are focusing on the tasks that you need to accomplish! I personally own an LED lamp light from Target and it cost under $10. The light is really bright, and it really is a game changer with the way I focus and do my work.
Add in some greenery!
Even if you are not the best at taking care of plants, buying fake plants and vine decorations from Amazon will make your study area a lot more lively and earthy! I like to hang my vine decor around my study space, and even have some cacti plants laying around my desk.
Your emotional support water bottle
Staying hydrated is the key to success and ensuring you have enough energy for those days and nights when you have a lot on your workload. I personally like having a water bottle that has a straw attached to it, which almost makes it more fun for me to drink my water throughout my day. It also allows me to be able to drink more water in general! I recently have gotten a 32 oz Owala water bottle, and it does me a lot of wonders!
Have designated playlists
Lastly in order to amplify your study space, it is super important to have some designated playlists to keep you moving and on your toes while doing your work! You can categorize some of your songs based on the kind of work that you need to get done. I like to have a soft lo-fi playlist whenever I have a big exam to study for in a couple days, hype/R&B mixes for assignments that I can get done quickly, or alternative rock songs for days I do not want to have any distractions in sight!
