Date Snickers Recipe

Have a sweet tooth but also want to eat healthy? Date snickers are the perfect compromise! They are so simple to make and are so delicious. Dates are very good for you. They’re high in fiber and antioxidants, and as an added bonus, they taste like caramel! I highly recommend giving these a try.

Ingredients:

  1. Large soft and fresh dates
  2. Peanut butter
  3. Dark chocolate
  4. Peanuts

Directions:

  1. Melt chocolate in microwave to have ready for the coating (reheat as needed)
  2. Cut each date lengthwise to remove the pit
  3. Fill date with peanut butter
  4. Add some crushed peanuts in with the peanut butter
  5. Use toothpick to pick up each stuffed date
  6. Dip/coat each stuffed date in the melted chocolate
  7. Place coated date on parchment paper and garnish with more crushed peanuts if desired
  8. Let cool before serving
