February 9, 2024 //  by Emily Hayburn

This Valentines Day, celebrate with a guilt-free indulgence—Healthy Dark Chocolate Raspberry Bliss Balls. These bite-sized treats are not only rich in flavor but also loaded with antioxidants, making them the perfect way to satisfy your sweet cravings while keeping health in mind.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup fresh raspberries, chopped

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together melted coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
  • Fold in the dark chocolate chips and chopped raspberries, distributing them evenly throughout the dough.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Gently flatten each ball with the back of a fork to create a cookie shape.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  • Allow the Bliss Bites to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Optional: Drizzle melted dark chocolate over the top for an extra touch of indulgence.
