Hopefully you were brought here by the previous post “Looking Back At The Year 2017”. In order to have a wonderful year of success this 2018, we provided you with some reflections to take a second and think about reflecting upon the previous year. It is purposeful to look back while reflecting, as it is to look ahead, plan, and prepare as well. Prepare for the amazing year ahead of you by looking at some of these reflection questions for the future.
Moving Forward To 2018
Where Do You Need To Go Next
Keeping the question in mind of what is your next plan personally and professionally, will help to keep you on your toes. You would be able to plan and move to opportunities easier. Focus on your goals and plan for that direction.
How Will You Evolve In The Year Ahead
Be able to identify new skills, knowledge, and experiences that will aid in your growth. Visualize yourself at the end of 2018 and ask how will you have grown? This reflection will help you plan to achieve that.
What Are Your Top Goals
Goals can provide focus, direction, a sense of purpose, and motivation. Get specific and concrete, make them relevant and meaningful. Move aside from resolutions and make some goals.
Who Will You Connect With
Invest now in networking and relationships. Meaningfully and authentically connect with those important to you. Expand your personal and professional network. Give back to others.
How Will You Navigate Ambiguity & Uncertainty
In this realm we look at how you cope with the unknown. Tap into your capacity to adapt to changes, and heartiness to accept challenges that may come your way. Do not be reluctant to seek support in developing skills.
What Is Your Mantra For 2018
Complete the phrase, ” 2018 will be the year of _____.” by looking at what stands out for you in the year ahead. Personally, for me I would fill that blank in with “the butterfly”. Metaphorically explaining a time of evolution, growth, and upward transformation.
Happy 2018, 18 days in here’s to an amazing year ahead!
