Toast is a great breakfast food. But did you know there are countless ways to make it unique and delicious? Here are a few of my personal favorites! And don’t forget to use whole grain or multigrain bread to make it even healthier for your body!
Avocado
- Avocado toast is one of my go-to’s. I love mashing an avocado on whole wheat toast, frying an egg to put on top, and adding garlic powder, salt, pepper, and a little shredded cheese on it
Hummus
- Hummus may sound like a weird topping for toast, but trust me it’s delicious! Add hummus, tomato slices, and red onion slices on top of your toast for a great savory breakfast.
Ricotta
- This option is great if you have a sweet-tooth! Add ricotta cheese, granola, and berries on your toast, then drizzle with honey!
Peanut butter
- Peanut butter toast is another great option! You can add peanut butter on top of your whole wheat toast, add sliced banana, honey and cinnamon too!
Remember, breakfast is the most important meal of the day – it boosts your metabolism. So, make sure your breakfast is healthy, but also delicious!
