Healthy Mocktails For Dry January

We’ve all heard of dry January, right? After the holidays, many people take the month off of drinking to reset and cleanse. Whether you are practicing that, or you just want a tasty drink without “drinking”, these mocktails are delicious and much better for your body than their alcoholic counterparts!

Blueberry Lavender Fauxjito:

lavender simple syrup:
  • 1/2 cup honey, coconut/raw sugar, or other sweetener of choice
  • 1/2 cup purified water
  • 1 tablespoon Culinary Lavender
blueberry-lavender fauxjito:
  • 2–3 tablespoons lavender syrup, or more to taste
  • 6–8 mint leaves, plus more for garnish
  • 3 slices of lime OR juice of 1/2 lime, plus more for garnish
  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries, plus more for garnish
  • handful of ice
  • Plain or lime flavored sparkling water

Grapefruit Palom-ock

  • 2 oz grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 – 1 oz maple syrup
  • Sparkling water
  • Ice
  • Sliced limes and grapefruit, for serving

Fruit + Kombucha Mocktail

  • 2 16- ounce bottles Original Kombucha, unflavored
  • 2 cups 100% orange-mango juice
  • 1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted, and chopped
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • Simply add all ingredients to a pitcher, stir, and then serve over ice!

Rose Lemon Spritzer

  • 2 tablespoons rose water * optional
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1-2 tablespoon honey or to taste (use agave if vegan)
  • a few drops of blood orange or pomegranate juice for color (optional)
  • 3/4 cup sparkling water or more to taste
  • fresh roses for garnish (optional)

Cucumber Lemonade

  • 1 medium sized cucumber, peeled or unpeeled (See notes)
  • Juice of 4 lemons
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar (You can also use agave/honey)
  • 3 cups cold water
  • Ice, to serve
  • Instructions here

It’s amazing what delicious creations you can make with some fresh fruit and juice, herbs and seltzer that can hit the spot without alcohol. Enjoy!
