I know, I know – the 4th of July already happened. But since many people take the rest of this week to be with friends and family, we thought you might like some inspiration other than having BBQs (which are obviously one of the best parts of summer!) Here’s a list of fun activities you and your family can do to celebrate this year!
Host Craft Time.
Activate the right side of your brain with some red, white, and blue craft projects! If you need an idea, check out this wreath for your door!
Take a family bike ride.
Grab your bikes and take a ride through the park! Who knows, maybe you’ll see other fun activities to do while being there.
Throw a family pool party.
If the weather allows, invite some friends and neighbors over for a pool party! Swimming is such an excellent way to get some fun social time while also getting in movement and getting out some energy!
Make red, white and blue treats.
Stay in the spirit by creating 4th of July themed sweets for the whole family to enjoy! There’s a lot of freedom to choose when it comes to treats, with hundreds of red, white, and blue themed recipes online. Check out these for inspiration!
Watch a patriotic (or spoof) movie outside.
If you have a projector and some sheets to hang, create a cozy environment for the family and friends to watch a 4th of July themed flick (click here for ideas!)
