Independence Day is here! A day to relax, eat great summertime food, get some sunshine and connect with friends and family. Today can certainly be busy, with the cooking, and cleaning, and entertaining, or travelling; I know what you’re thinking, though, “When will I have time to workout?” Here is a great 4th of July morning workout that will get your heart pumping, you body sweating, and your whole self ready for enjoying that day of celebration! The best part, it will be done in 30 minutes so you can do it at home with your family or kids while your apple pie is baking in the oven. Happy 4th of July!
The workout:
Perform the workout by working your way down the list, completing the number of repetitions associated with each exercise. You will complete as many rounds as you can until 30 minutes is up!
-Body Weight Squats (20 reps)
-Abdominal Crunches (20 reps)
-Alternating Jumping Lunges or Reverse Lunges (10 reps each leg)
-Push-ups (15 reps)
-Mountain Climbers (20 reps each leg)
-Jumping Jacks (20 reps)
-Plank jacks (15 reps)
-Squat Jumps (15 reps)
-Burpees (10 reps)
